Why Become a Member?
If you own and/or plan to operate a mobile food business in Washington, please support your own economic interests, and that of your fellow mobile food vendors, by becoming a member of the Association today. We have been making great strides over the past 4-years, in changing and updating the policies that affect your daily business operations, but without your participation, this much needed state association will not be as strong and successful. We are a membership services organization working hard on your behalf to challenge the threats to this industry. As an industry, we must function like a team, and everybody must play their part in order for us to succeed.
We are lucky to have our own full time policy advisor/ lobbyist working on our behalf in Olympia, tracking all proposed legislation that could affect us and our own legislative agenda. Our strong efforts successfully passed the commissary kitchen exemption bill in 2018, allowing for vendors who meet certain requirements, to use their own mobile kitchen on wheels. See all of our other advocacy and policy change effforts here.
We host multiple Association events throughout the year giving you more access to vending opportunities that include Food Truck Fridays at the Port of Everett and Lobby Day at our state capitol in Olympia, and at least one annual membership conference meeting with access to our policy advisor.
Our members are in the only state-wide comprehensive listing of mobile food vendors. Hungry customers and event planners use our city-by-city listing to find the BEST food trucks.
Catering and Event Referrals
Event planners, corporations, and city planning departments are connected to member vendors in their area. If the event fees and logistics are reasonable, we list other opportunities for you on our Events & Festivals page.
Members will receive notice of new vending locations and special events before they are listed publicly on the website for others to see.
Coke products with no minimum order plus on-site delivery, hood cleaning services, food truck discount program w/Caffè di Artisan and w/Blue Star Gas, etc. can be found in our Resources section.
Members can ask fellow vendors questions about getting started and voice their opinions on current issues, trade tips & suggestions, and offer topics for discussion in an interactive closed Facebook discussion group. This is also where the Association distributes member news, catering and event referrals.
The members only Resources section includes:
How to get started, new vendor info
