Association members only

If you are not yet a member, you can find the online application here, and contribute to the evolving mobile food industry in Washington state.  Our ability to advocate for you and the industry, support you and grow the Association is funded solely by membership dues.

Association members have access to

  • RESOURCES - links to helpful information for new start-ups and existing vendors, including:  funding sources, equipment suppliers, vetted repair & maintenance contacts, insurance, fire safety, education, business tips, health department and state building code requirements, software applications, books, articles, other industry news sources, marketing ideas, etc.
  • WA STATE NEWS - stories from around the state covering all things related to food trucks and mobile food vending, including policy updates, regulation and fee changes, local zoning & restrictions, etc.
  • VENDING OPPORTUNITIES - members get first notice of incoming catering requests, event notices and new pod/lot locations and can find ongoing vending opportunities or special offers.
  • FORUM - members can trade & voice their opinions on current issues, offer topics for discussion, and give help and advice to new members via a "closed" Facebook group.  This is also where new incoming event referrals are released and special offers are made to members only.
  • ADVOCACY - information and updates regarding state and local government legislation and regulatory activity.  The association meets with stakeholders and policy makers to educate them on the issues that affect you as a small business owner, and to assist with necessary policy changes.
  • NEW VENDOR START-UP INFO  - new members receive information to help guide you through the start-up phase that will include: guidelines from Washington state department of L and I,  health department permitting information for your county, business development plan template, marketing suggestions, food and fire safety tips, etc.

Additional Benefits for Members:

  • DIRECTORY LISTING - hungry customers and event planners can find food trucks in their city, in our "Find a Food Truck" directory pages.
  • CATERING REFERRALS - event planners, corporations, and city planning departments will be provided with contact info for member vendors in their area.  Please fill out your catering profile here.
  • ADVANCE NOTICE - members will receive notice of new events before they get listed on the website.
  • MEMBER DISCOUNTS  - mobile food vendor insurance policy and others in the planning.
  • EXPERIENCES - members can post good and bad experiences they have had with service providers or events & venues; learn from your fellow food truck owners if an event or venus host is charging or promising more than they deliver or if there is a service provider you would not recommend.
